I am so incredibly impressed with this company. We had previously installed solar and had the worst time with our installer. When we wanted to add more to our system, I was seriously dreading it because of our previous experience. These guys were amazing, from quote to finish. Carlos and his team are incredibly honest, efficient, and creative with how they met the challenges in adding to our exisiting system and removing a solar thermal system. I appreciated how they were highly responsive as well. I think they deserve all the accolades and kudos and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks for recommendations.

We have a townhouse with limited space, unusual 208V electrical service, no gas service (electric heat), two homeowner associations, and a prior NEM2 solar setup that was not enough. We wanted to max out use of our roof area with non-exporting panels and add a battery to get us through evenings and bad weather. Many other installers would not give us a bid. A neighbor installed a Tesla Powerwall with a different contractor and it would not turn on due to the 208V supply. Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions took on the job and followed through on the HOA approvals (requiring special insurance arrangements), city permit, installation of a 208V-compatible FranklinWH system, city inspection, and PG&E approval. They squeezed 2 more panels than I thought could fit onto our south-facing roof area. Now we need to break our habit of being stingy about running our heater and air conditioner because we have plenty of energy available and can still achieve net zero. Don’t let those other contractors tell you it can’t be done.

An absolute joy to work with Juan and team @Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions. Crew very professional. Custom design for our house. Installation took less than 2 days. One day for 17 panels, 2 story unfriendly roof line, second day battery, aGate, sub-panel etc. generating power late afternoon, third day passed inspection. Took about a week and a half to get SNEM Paired Storage System PG&E approval (we can now upload extra power back to the grid and get (small...) credit). Still waiting for permanent storage battery rebate to clear but cautiously optimistic. We absolutely recommend this company. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
