Service Description

NorCal Repairs operates a lead-generation and contractor referral platform. We connect homeowners and property managers in Northern California with licensed, independent HVAC, plumbing, and roofing contractors.

No Guarantees on Contractor Work

While we take reasonable steps to verify that contractors in our network hold active California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) licenses and carry general liability insurance, we do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse:

• The quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of any contractor's work
• Any contractor's skill, qualifications, or suitability for a specific project
• The accuracy of any contractor's representations about their credentials, experience, or capabilities
• Any specific outcomes or results from the contracted services
• The availability of any particular contractor at the time of your request

Any agreement you make with a contractor is solely between you and that contractor. NorCal Repairs is not a party to any contract between you and a service provider.

Pricing & Estimates

All pricing information displayed on our website, including service cost ranges, rebate amounts, and savings estimates, are provided for informational purposes only and represent approximate, general estimates.

• Actual costs will vary based on the scope of work, materials, labor, location, and other project-specific factors
• Quoted prices from contractors may differ from the estimates shown on our website
• Rebate availability and amounts (including SMUD and federal tax credits) are subject to change and eligibility requirements that are beyond our control
• You should obtain and carefully review a written quote from your contractor before authorizing any work

NorCal Repairs does not charge homeowners any fee for requesting quotes. Our service to homeowners is free.

User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when submitting a quote request or contacting us
• Be at least 18 years of age or the legal property owner/authorized representative
• Conduct your own due diligence when selecting a contractor, including verifying licenses, insurance, and references
• Not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or functionality of our website
• Not submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information through our forms
• Not use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access our website without our written permission

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, and software, is the property of NorCal Repairs or its content suppliers and is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NorCal Repairs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a contractor.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by NorCal Repairs. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.
