Worker profiles display trade specialty, years of experience, certifications, availability status, preferred work area, and a brief bio. Contact information (phone and email) is gated and only visible to subscriber contractors.
How does contact info gating work?
Worker phone numbers and email addresses are hidden by default. Only contractors with an active NorCal Repairs subscription ($299/mo) can view full contact details. This protects worker privacy while ensuring serious inquiries from verified contractors.
Is it free for workers to create a profile?
Yes, creating a worker profile is 100% free and takes about 2 minutes. Workers can list their trade, experience, certifications, and availability at no cost. There are no fees or commissions charged to workers.
How do contractors contact workers?
Subscriber contractors can see worker phone numbers and email addresses directly on each profile. They can call, text, or email workers to discuss job opportunities. No middleman, no delays — direct contractor-to-worker communication.
Can workers control their visibility?
Yes. Workers can update their availability status at any time, marking themselves as available, busy, or not looking. Workers can also update or remove their profile whenever they choose.
Are worker profiles verified?
Worker profiles are self-reported and not independently verified by NorCal Repairs. Contractors are responsible for verifying credentials, certifications, licenses, and work eligibility before hiring. We recommend checking references independently.
What trades are supported?
We support 17 trade categories: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, fencing, flooring, painting, windows, garage doors, handyman, concrete, junk removal, cleaning, landscaping, tree service, water damage restoration, pest control, and general labor. Workers select their primary trade when creating a profile.
How many cities are covered?
NorCal Repairs covers 190+ cities across Northern and Central California, from Redding in the far north to Bakersfield in the south, and from the Central Coast to the Sierra foothills. Workers can list any city within our coverage area.
