Our areal lift failed on the job in grass valley. After inspection it was obvious the brushes were worn out, so in the interest of time and need for the equipment I choose to let all electric do it, I was shocked that the brushes cost us 650.00 , when the going rate for a reman was 350. At least they got it done in about a week. So I installed and the motor worked but no pump pressure.after about an hour I felt like the pump was running in the wrong direction.so I called asked if it was possible that it was wrong direction.1 and got put on with a forman or manager who informed me that dc motors don't work like that and they had put the brushes in correctly. So I wasted another 3 or 4 days trying to diag out why no pressure as I was told it could not be the motor direction. So I finally got to inspect our other lift motor and confirmed it was turning in wrong rotation.so I had to fix it myself after being rejected by all electric. The people at all electric did not know it was even possible the DC motor could do that and he laughed at me for suggesting it. Yet it took little research to find out it could very easily happen and it did. The 650.00 was small compared to the thousands in lost production all electric cost us. Price serve and product deserve an F. Bob Hightech electric.
