On our second visit for a new job we had a good experience with Steven. He went above and beyond and was very pleasant to deal with. Helped fix a faucet and cut an outside line that needed to be prepared for a roofing contractor. Original visit: The most reasonably priced contractor I’ve ever had in Monterey by far. We had a new R/O system installed and new toilet installed and two outdoor spigots fixed. Parts charges were honest. I really appreciate Mario’s knowledge and quickness. He arrived on time as well. Very impressive! The owner is also nice to deal with over the phone and gave me an accurate quote with minimal fuss. Thanks!

We realized the movers' truck broke the main water pipe only when they were leaving around 5:30PM. Called around for service: Only A&R picked up the phone saying a tech would call back. The tech did but he had 3 more emergencies to handle so suggested we call Call Am water to turn off the valve (which is what Cal am water prefers) and the repair could take place the next day. The next day Alden from A&R came to fix our problem. Shannon on the phone had explained clearly what the procedure would be depending on the type and depth of the pipes. Then we received a call 15 min before Alden's arrival (we were still renting elsewhere). Alden explained exactly what the problem was and what he would do to fix it. He also suggested to call Cal amWater to fix something in the outside box. He put the note on the invoice so that I would not forget. I have had good plumbers but A&R's professionalism from beginning to end is truly amazing. So here it is: A broken main pipe became a delightful experience! Such a joy to deal with people who are professional, competent, and with a good attitude. I told them they have my business for life.
