We've used MPH on four projects over the last 5 years and the guys are great. They're responsive, the prices are fair and reasonable, and they do good work. As we continue to develop and remodel homes, we'll continue calling on Richard and the team to get the job done.

This company does a terrible job with sloppy workmanship, not obtaining a permit or doing the promised leak test for the new high-efficiency heater until I filed a complaint with the CA contractors licensing board. The thermostat wire they installed shorted and caused dangerous gas smell from the new heater, a potential fire hazard situation, but the business owner would not respond to the urgent calls, apparently caring only about his dinner. I had to have PG&E come for emergency evaluation, and hire a reputable HVAC company to fix the problem this business refused to even diagnose. Gas line for the heater was installed wrong, and there were numerous other errors throughout--too many to list them all here. This company does not answer calls. It does not follow the customary industry warranty for the work provided. Overcharging for the new heating system, and yet not even taking out the old heating ducts out of the crawl space. Terrible reputation within the local industry as well. Unbelievable that a company like this is allowed to work on people's houses, messing things up and leaving all sorts of toxic trash in unseen corners. Hire someone else for your peace of mind. --------- This is an update on my previous review. I did an independent certified HERS test to check on the duct leakage status on the new HVAC system this company installed, and as suspected, this company's shoddy work did not pass the test. This company did not even bother to seal the "high efficiency" furnace, the plenum under it, or some of the registers inside the house. Then they hired and paid "831 Conserve" to provide a fake test result. Other HVAC contractors could not believe such shoddy work passed the required test. Air was leaking out from the bottom of the furnace, as well as the upper corners and in the crawlspace. One contractor said what this company did was fraud, and I totally agree.

Very unreliable people: I reported an issue with a heat pump they installed. They had a look and could not find any obvious issues with the system. The pressures were correct. They said they would check with the manufacturer and get back to me. Since then I messaged, called at least 5 times. I have them over a week after each call. Still no response. Furthermore, even though I asked them twice to give me a quote for a new mini split installation but never got a quote. Rating at the lowest end as my experience has been extremely frustrating.
