Performance Heating & Air Conditioning

After calling a large local "well known" company out to my house last week to look at my furnace. I was skeptical because the unit is 9 years old and I really didn't want them to just tell me I need to replace it. I knew that only getting 9 years out of a unit seems odd, but I waited to see. YUP they told me I need to condemn it. BUT WAIT, I called Performance after I asked the local company to leave. Sure enough Performance showed up and replaced my flame sensor and adjusted a couple other things and it is working like a charm. They gave the unit a clean bill of health and suggested I do normal routine preventive maintenance to prolong its life. They've earned my business! They did not try to sell me something I didn't need. A huge sigh of relief calling this company. I could tell from the lovely gal ( I think she said her name was Corine) that I was going to be treated fairly and honestly. And I was indeed.

I called Performance to give me a quote on my 20 year old heating and air system. My first interaction was with the most friendly woman on the phone, Correine. She quickly set up an appointment for an estimator. Curtis arrived on time and was knowledgeable about my needs. After speaking with him I learn he is also a Generac dealer. Before Curtis left I gave him my business for new heating;/air unit and a new generator install. Now that the job is completed I could not be more pleased with the quality of work. Clearly they treated my home like their own. They care about you and your satisfaction. Thank you to the crew

Write an update Edit review 8/23/2020 Stay away from Performance Heating and Air in Eldorado Hills, CA and its owner Curtis Brown who claims that he is a certified Bryant contractor. I asked him to repair my Bryant heat pump system, which was a warranty job; I have 10 years warranty from Bryant HVAC Company. My experience dealing with Curtis Brown is very negative: 1. He is very expensive; knowing that I need my heat pump in February, he was jacking up the price each day 2. He did his job not in accordance with Bryant specifications. 3. He charged me twice for a refrigerant test which was performed by him incorrectly, and after that he wanted me to pay him five times more ($125.00) for another test he failed twice. 4. He gave me 1 year warranty on his job which he bluntly refuses to fulfill. Curtis Brown is very arrogant, highly unprofessional, extremely expensive and not reliable.
