Just updating my previous review. The company did send a field supervisor to take a look at the broken unit. They did repaired the broken piece. I would give the company a 5 star it if wasn't for the way they process everything. While fixing the broken piece the tech continued to state that it was not his fault and that it wouldn't have happened if the unit wasn't a made in China. Over all I appreciate the company's customer service and how they acted to resolve the issue but not the way their technicians conducted themselves. Just for reference the unit was a Senville mini split unit.

My appointment was for 9:30 AM. Val rang the doorbell and knocked on my door at about 8:25 AM, an hour early. He was there to do an AC tune up and clean the AC compressor. I had not received a price for the compressor cleaning until it was time to do that job and then I was give a quote for $450. The tune up was $85, so the entire quoted cost was $535. I negotiated a $100 discount and he proceeded. I suppose I could have refused his services when I got the compressor cleaning quote, but he was standing in my doorway. The compressor cleaning involved spraying the compressor with some cleaning chemicals out of a one quart spray bottle and then spraying the compressor with my garden hose. From his arrival at 8:30 AM until his departure a few minutes after 9:00 AM, the entire job took a half hour and some chemicals. $535 for a half hour and some cleaning chemicals. Assuming the chemicals cost $35 (probably closer to $10), his labor time and effort were billed at $1,000 per hour. Needless to say I am deeply disappointed with the entire experience, especially since I got a email at about 8:00 AM from Beutler HVAC offering an AC tune up for $29.00. Super Brothers charges three times what Beutler charges for an AC tune up. At those prices any rational consumer would refuse to use Super Brothers in the future. I am pretty sure I am a rational consumer. An hour early, and labor cost of $500 for a half hour. Buyer beware.

Edit to add a star. They called me back this morning and left a voicemail that they wanted to discount me down to $190. I had already called another company who did it same day for even cheaper than $190. I appreciate super brothers trying to rectify though. I called asking if they do C wire installs so I can use a smart thermostat. They said yes and gave me an appointment for 2 days later which was great. At one point a service technician called me and I missed his call. I called him back and he sounded like he was busy and asked if he could call me back in a few minutes. I never got a call back. Fast forward to the service call and the guy who showed up thought we wanted a new HVAC system. My girlfriend corrected him and he sent me a quote for $475 to install a wire. I already have the smart thermostat so that's not included in that price. Needless to say I'm not going through this company.
