First off let me start by saying the guy who came out to do the initial assessment was great. Then when another guy came to put up lights, weather proof and give bulbs, lamp and microwave was great as well. Don’t get me wrong the program is beneficial to a certain point. My reason of going through the program was as a disabled single lady my fridge went out and I desperately needed one. They told me I’d get the same size and it could take up to 6 months well I did call as I was curious a few times and then I did receive a fridge BUT here’s where my complaint comes in. They gave me a used fridge and it started making my food go bad and not freeze correctly so I called them and a guy by the name of Cruz came out and informed me indeed it was a used fridge and he needed to order parts and then when the parts did come in he gave me an appointment time and showed up 3 hours later saying it was gonna take him another 3 hours being he needed to weld a part on. I then call Empire Specialities and was informed they don’t know who this guy even is and that he doesn’t work for them. Sadly, my old refrigerator worked better than this one even if it leaked water everywhere at least my food didn’t go bad. By the way I still haven’t got my refrigerator from Empire Specialities fixed. I’m very disappointed with the people who answer. It’s very unprofessional!

September 25 I reached out to Richard to find out what was going on with the window coverings. He said he would get back to me. He called me Friday, September 26. He said that the boss refuses to follow up and continue the work since I gave him a bad review and I was mean when they come out and they call you they tell you that they’re going to do weatherstrip the fans lightbulbs window coverings they don’t keep their promises most everyone in our apartment complex got everything already. I am the single person here that did not, and I cannot believe that this company refuses to do it over my review, but I thank Richard for trying he’s a nice friendly person. That’s why I’m doing this update on this review. Thank you Richard for trying your best!
