Jack Smith Glass & Sash

We hired Jack Smith Glass & Sash to do a job which included fixing old wooden windows (our house was built in 1905), replacing some dual-paned windows, and installing a glass shower enclosure. They knew what they were doing, did a great job on everything were friendly, and took the time to fully fix our wooden windows carefully. It was especially nice since we had difficulty finding anyone who was knowledgeable and willing to work on old wooden windows, and they clearly knew the details of how they function and what to do to repair them. Ours are original and have ropes and pulleys with weights inside the walls. They took apart the windows, replaced the broken ropes, reattached the pulleys, repaired the wood of the windows, replaced a glass pane, etc. The outfit is small and they provide personalized service. The crew who came to check out the job and provide a bid initially were the same guys who actually came and did the work. We would gladly hire them again if we need more work like this done.

Jack Smith staff is very responsive and friendly. The window technicians sent to repair our Milgard windows took the time to make sure all windows were working properly. They were able to work around our plantation shutters to replace balancers. This saved us considerably compared to others quotes we got.

Great experience with Jack Smith Glass. Front office is very friendly, if they can't answer a question for you they will get it for you. Crew showed up twice, once to measure and once to install, both times they showed up when they said they were going to show up. They were professional and polite, thanks everyone!
