Vortex Doors

Our facility has three large metal sliding gates with automatic opening/closing control boxes and other features along with multiple commercial roll-up doors. We contract with Vortex Doors for service, repair and maintenance. I wanted to take a minute to publicly acknowledge and recommend Vortex, and Technician's Juan and his partner Thomas, for their efforts recently with gate issues we were having. First, Vortex was responsive in scheduling at a time that was convenient for us and then the technicians showing up within the time frame they said they would arrive. Our gates have had issues off and on for some time, but this latest issue was a frustrating problem with a special radio frequency activated gate opener. This required Juan to work with the device vendor, a radio shop technician and others to try and get the device working properly. While not completely something Juan should have had to deal with, he took the time and initiative to make sure the job was done, and the issues solved. This extra effort by Juan reflects highly on not only himself but Vortex as well. Together Juan and Thomas got the gate operating correctly and did the preventative maintenance on the mentioned roll-up doors as well. Thank you, Vortex. Thank-you Juan and Thomas.
