JZ Windows & Doors

I recently had my old windows replaced by JZ Windows and Doors, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They installed beautiful Anlin windows that are locally made and exceptionally high quality. From the initial consultation through the final installation, every step of the process was easy, professional, and friendly. The team worked hard to carefully remove the old windows and install the new ones with amazing attention to detail. They measured everything perfectly, sealed each window properly, and re-caulked all the openings for a great seal. What stood out most was their excellent customer service. They communicated throughout the entire process, followed up several times, and worked around my schedule to make everything convenient and stress free. JZ Windows and Doors is a locally owned and family operated company, and it shows in the pride they take in their work. Owner came out and measured my door. He was pleasant and professional. I let him know I wanted to have my storm door reinstalled, given it was also my screen door. He said they would be able to do that; I would just need to let the installer know. This is one of the main reasons I chose them.There were door limited options to choose from. This is something I found with all the door installers who quoted me. Everyone was using the Anlin catalogue with no other options. They also didn't have live doors for me to look at. They provided me with a quote quickly. They put my order in promptly and connected with me for the install once it was ready. Day of install, workers who come were professional. However I told them I wanted them to either put the screen door back or install an alternate I picked up from costco. They told me they didnt know anything about that and installing a security door in the new one would void the warranty. They called JZ to ask about my request and still stuck with their decision not to do anything about my storm door. They didnt offer any viable solutions to this problem. They installed the door. It's ok. I liked my old door better. I got the option that included the large dog door. It's sleek, but hard to open and shut. The locking proceedure for the door is a little unruly. I did and do feel misled, specifically about the sscreen door. If they had clearly told me that their installers wouldnt reinstall my screen door I would have explored other options. Yes, I have a new and very expensive door. However, I no longer have a good source of airflow in my house because I can't leave my back door open without the screen door. If I had to do it again, I would probably just go through Lowes.
