Bay Area Molding & Door

Hi I was really impressed with the service I received from Brian at Bay Area Door and Molding. I am doing a full bathroom remodel in Fremont and my contractor asked how soon I could get 3 custom doors. Well I went to the company in Fremont, ordered the doors and got them delivered the very next day! That is incredible and I am giving them five stars!

We did 2 full home renovations back to back, which is insane if you ask anyone who has gone through any amount of renovation! After going through both renos, I can honestly say Bay Area Molding and door was a great stop for our hardware, doors and baseboards. It's a small team, but they are all easy to talk to. We initially worked with Brian and he was really knowledgable. Then I got to know Floyd and he was helpful as well! You can go to the big box stores (we certainly did in the beginning!), but the quality is questionable, and you might get lucky that it all turns out without dings. I made a mistake in ordering the wrong baseboard size and they helped us without hassle. They made a mistake in cutting out a hardware on one of the doors and again, we worked through it. They have integrity and really try to help their customers by stepping up whenever they can. Renovations are hard enough, these guys really supported us until our reno finished. Even when we had huge leak in our ceiling, which had nothing to do with doors or molding, Brian tried to offer support by sharing his list of trustworthy contacts who can help us fix the leak. That will continue to grow their business with homeowners. Most often when you go to a door and molding company as a homeowner you won't get much attention, but I felt comfortable working with these guys from the start. They have a great selection of hardware on display too. Make your life easier by checking these guys out so you can focus on the other endless decisions to make for your reno!

I will need to fill up the big opening space for my in-law suite entrance. Bay Area molding and door communicate via email with prompt response and offer the suggestions. The door fabricate lead time is around 2 weeks which is much quicker than big box store and the price is good. I would suggest people who are still considering how to get the project started with trust craftsmanship. You can definitely try to reach out to Bay Area molding & Door and it won’t go wrong. We are happy with the process , communication and end result.
