Got my double front doors, love them. I had initially unfortunately ordered my doors to big, I gave the wrong length. Called them and they received my replacement doors the next day. Had the glass and order ready that same day. Thanks, definitely got my business.

If you are in the SF Bay Area – Sacramento corridor, looking for doors & trim, this is very likely the best place to take your business. They are little out of the way, but in return their pricing is very fair, and their service and knowledge are exceptional. I’ve bought remodel trim & baseboard from Howard’s over the years on recommendation from a contractor friend. When we were planning our new construction, I wanted them to bid the job for comparison with the bids from our General Contractor. We had been holding off construction due to the astonishingly high materials cost, and we were very price conscious. All the other quotes seem to carry a zip code fee as we were building in wine country. In the process of Howard’s bidding the project, it was clear that they were paying close attention to our design & ideas – giving feedback and asking questions that showed their skillful knowledge. When they bid a better price for better quality, I knew they were the one for our job. Brian helped with the selections and sizing, always providing excellent insight into the world of doors and trim work. For both stock and custom doors, he had valuable contributions to the conversation before we ordered. When I brought him base & window trim build-up ideas, he was able to pull together stock pieces to make it happen. With a good installer, we had a wonderful custom finished look that was exactly what we hoped for. Throughout the entire process, he was able to clearly lay out the options, and pros & cons for each choice. I know all our final selections were a good fit for our wishes and budget. They were very responsive, keeping us up to date on all steps of the process – from design to delivery. They were always right on top of things – the inevitable last minute requests/adjustments and were spot on with their delivery timelines. They are top of my list for all future projects.
