I’ve exclusively used Mares & Dow for all our skylights and sun tunnels since 2012. They are the premier Velux installers and I highly recommend them! Our latest project was a new patio deck roof with 2 skylights. Jimmy Mares and his crew did a phenomenal job!

Mares and Dow were a delight to work with, from the first phone call with Janet to the finished construction done by Jimmy and Rafael. Jimmy came to give me a quote and answered all my questions patiently and completely. The price seemed reasonable to me after checking the internet for how much it costs to replace skylights. I have three skylights in a kitchen that was remodeled 27 years ago. The shades and opening feature stopped working and repairing the skylights wasn't an option due to their age. My kitchen has been unbearably bright during the summer months without the option of closing the shades. The new solar operating shades are beautiful and so much quieter than the older version. Jimmy and Rafael did an amazing job of setting up and protecting my kitchen area during the work. They were conscientious and respectful of our comfort during the two day construction and did a terrific job making it all look like new. I'm extremely happy with the results!
