These people were great. They cut a single pane for me while I waited on a Saturday. I forgot when I entered their shop that my grandson had stuck wire marker stickers all over my head. The employees kindly did not let on that I looked a little crazy.

Make sure you get quote for scope of work in writing from Southgate emailed . I had South gate come out for replacing balancers and swapping out a window. I was given a price over the phone. I scheduled tech to come out to address both. I specifically asked if tech was coming out that provided info for estimate as he was familiar with scope of work. They advised another tech was coming out, but the work would be addressed. Tech showed up and didn’t know about the window swap. I let him complete balancers, but asked him to call his dispatch. He was confused and I gave up taking to him. After discussing with dispatch, they advised that the window swap would need to be done by others. While I can understand the confusion of not sending the correct tech to address both scopes of work, I am disappointed Southgate ghosted me after charging my credit card for half the requested work and did not call back to further discuss my disappointment or willing to negotiate added costs for return trip. I will chalk it up to they don’t want to deal with the window swap, but at least have the decency as a business to call me back after three attempts to speak with management. For Southgate to say they didn’t know about the window swap doesn’t line up with the copy of the estimate left by tech who swapped balancers. See notes in bottom of photo. Update: Mario with Southgate called back to rectify the situation. He offered to handle directly which I can appreciate. I still elected to go elsewhere, but I have revised my rating based on our conversation.

We had five replacement windows installed by Southgate Glass in Carmichael, and the experience was exceptional. From my first call with Spencer, through Michelle and Francis on scheduling, to Brian’s design help and Angel and Joe’s precise installation, every step showed professionalism and attention to detail. The windows look perfect, the team kept everything neat, and communication was clear throughout. We’re very happy with the results and highly recommend Southgate Glass for quality workmanship and great service.
