Dolan's Lumber, Doors and Windows

I've been working with Dolan's Windows, Doors and Lumber for approximately 15 years. They've provided excellent service, competitive pricing and are always a great source of reliable product information. I have worked with Sam mostly and have also worked with Josh. Sam has always gone above and beyond when it comes to being thorough as to the order details and options and getting supplemental information from the various manufacturers. Their Walnut Creek lumber yard and warehouse staff is also amazing! They are very well organized in updating me about product lead times and deliveries.

In response to the business owners response. They are not installed and working perfectly. When I wrote this review. Since then my contractor had to reinforce the wall (and actually extend it in one place) to strengthen the pocket door. I called and emailed you and tried to resolve this mis shipment either with a refund or by your picking up the flimsy pocket frames and replacing them with what I ordered " Steel HD pocket frames Johnson " No part of that suggests not Johnson. The order I signed said Johnson HD steel frame. the code (which how should I know what the code means said ABS and numbers.). ABS frames which we received are flimsy and unreliable. Your sales associate never told me you do not sell steel frames. I stand by my review. We also ordered doors and are very happy with them. From your positive reviews I think most of the time you are probably spot on. Every business makes errors at times. That is when you really find out their value, if they correct their errors. Your error cost me time in materials and labor for my contractor to reinforce three weak pocket door frames. This is not extortion (look the meaning up), this was trying to have a business stand by their product.

Josh was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! He took the time to listen to our requirements and budget considerations and directed us accordingly.
