Disaster Kleenup Specialists

Last year we had some terrible water damage and DKI was recommended to us through our insurance company. They were wonderful to work with and I appreciated that we didn’t have to be the go-between with the insurance company for payments, change orders, and all the other minutia that goes on with disaster cleanup and repair. We sustained separate water damage this year in the January storms and decided to work with DKI once again for the repairs. Their communication is great, all of their staff are professional, their work is excellent and we would definitely recommend DKI to anyone having to navigate cleanup and repairs after an unexpected disaster.

I live in boulder creek. About a year ago the czu lightning complex fire burned through our neighborhood. Our house survived thanks to the boulder creek fire protection district. We did have extensive smoke damage in our home because the fire burned all the way around us. I contacted the fire division at disater kleenup specialists. They responded and came up with an extensive plan to take care of the damage to our house. Michael the manager did a great job of coordinating everything. Vincent and his crew did an amazing job of inventorying and packing everything in our house for removal to their facility for cleaning. Then they removed all the carpeting from our house. Then they thoroughly cleaned every inch of the interior of our house. They did an amazing job and I’m sure the house has never been that clean. The musty smoke smell was gone. They also coordinated the removal of the attic insulation and the installation of new insulation. Once we replaced the flooring in the whole house I contacted dks and they quickly returned all of our cleaned clothing, bedding, furniture, and personal items and replaced them where they were originally. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they worked. This was a big project to clean our entire house and make it livable again. All of the dks fire division were so professional and friendly it was a pleasure working with them. Alexandria in the office and Michael and Vincent and his crew at the house really did an excellent job. I hope we never need their services again but if we do I will use dks.

IF I could give 0 stars I would. From the 1sr step of process, this was an awful experience. Too much to write it out but included them leaving a big dark ring on carpet that wouldnt come out. I sent them message and pic. NO response and nothing done about it to change total balance they charged. Also no replies to other contacts I made about other issues. Totally ignored me. Dishonest and misrepresenting. I am a disabled senior and their treatment of me was awful. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. Stay clear of them.
