We received excellent service from the Servpro Team. The team was in our home for a couple of weeks. We always felt comfortable. They were super friendly and hardworking people. We highly recommend this company.

We had significant water damage in our kitchen caused by a plumbing leak behind the dishwasher. Our insurance company recommended SERVPRO, and they handled the entire mitigation process, working directly with our insurance company and helping minimize our out-of-pocket costs. The damage required demolition of all of the lower kitchen cabinets, and during the process they discovered that the water damage had extended into our laundry room. SERVPRO completed the mold remediation, including post-remediation testing and certification that the mold issue had been successfully resolved, which gave us great peace of mind. Because of our positive experience, we chose to keep SERVPRO for the reconstruction phase as well. The demolition and mold remediation took about a month, and the kitchen and laundry room reconstruction took approximately two months. Throughout the project, they met their schedules, communicated clearly, and delivered quality work. Having a contractor who could coordinate with our insurance company and manage both the remediation and reconstruction made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. We appreciate the professionalism of the entire team and would recommend SERVPRO of NW Bakersfield to anyone dealing with water damage or mold remediation.

The contractor at ServPro, Jose Cabral, is extremely combative, argumentative, and explosive. He is very unprofessional. He doesn’t let you speak or if you get the chance to speak, he cuts you off. He talks at you, not with you. Everything has to be his way. He tried to prevent me from picking my own material. When I did, he questioned it. He said “I don’t know why you would want to go with tile”. He tried so hard to make me go with whatever leftover material he had from previous jobs. He installed trim on my kitchen backsplash without approval from me. He said both jobs he was working on was 100% completed and demanded payment. An hour later, one of his guys was still in the house working. His inability to work with paying customers and people standing in for paying customers when they cannot be present will prevent him from growing his business. To be honest, I am not sure how he stays in business. I can’t be the only person he has treated like this. I was patient with him, I waited 3 months for the project to be completed when it should have only taken 1 month. I hardly contacted him and when I did, it was once per week to check the status of the job. He is a miserable person. He should not be in customer service whatsoever. I ended up blocking his number from my phone. The office staff is extremely unorganized. They almost undercharged me until I spoke up and told them. They are incapable of managing their contracts/finances. They would call and demand payment as if I was supposed to know when to make the payment. They are very unprofessional. They kept contacting me asking the status of final payment when I already told them when they would receive it in the mail. They withheld my house key from me until they received final payment which didn’t make sense since I had 3 other keys and it was their fault for prolonging the payment until they figured out their discrepancy. I will never recommend ServPro or CC Builders to anyone for as long as I live.
