PuroClean Certified Restoration Specialists

PuroClean was the restoration company that our HomeOwner's Insurance Company sent when we lost nearly half of our home to a broken water pipe (to a tankless hot water tank) in our attic, that burst and leaked. They arrived within an hour of our contacting our Insurance Company and got right to work to #1: stop the leak and #2: clean up all the water and #3: to clean up the destruction (ceiling fell down to the floor). They then took extreme precautions to dry our home and checked tirelessly for any traces of mold or potential mold. Adam Vizcarra (the Lead Project Manager/Production Manager) was there every step of the way (as we chose PuroClean to also rebuild our home). His team at PuroClean became part of our family. The entire crew (Brad, Audon, Steve, Paco, Sal) were a great group of hard working men. Not to neglect mentioning the sub contractors to PuroClean: "Chavez 1 Tile" with Art, Curtis and crew; "AIC Electric" with KC and crew and finally, "Hire Me Plumbing" with Eddie and Maycol. Literally every single PuroClean employee and contractor who worked on our home treated our home as though it were their own (and that mean A LOT). We are forever grateful to the men listed above. They helped us navigate foreign territory (we have never had anything like this happen, before). They communicated clearly and were patient with my questions and confusion throughout the process. I definitely don’t recommend. I was assigned to them by my insurance and it was a nightmare experience. Our 1-2 week job took nearly 5 months to complete, but they were very expedient in getting me to sign the check from my insurance. I had to act as the project manager because the communication was abysmal. It was clear that they were squeezing us in between other jobs. I was even told by the front office that we were bumped due to some emergency calls. There were times when no one showed up and I’d have to call to find out what happened. Smalls things would get done and then it would be weeks before something else would get done. The worker who kept getting sent out was on his phone from the time he showed up to the time he left. Sometimes he’d show up late and then go to lunch within 2 hours. His lunches were always extremely long and there was always an excuse of having to do something else while out or needing to go to the shop. There were numerous paint runs that had to be corrected. I told him several times about an area that needed to be fixed and he insisted that he did even though it was obvious it wasn’t. I had to call the office to get it corrected. Supplies were either ordered at the last minute or when the workers showed up to our house. When we were first connected with them, I made it very clear to the owner that our interior doors were no longer in production. He arrogantly told me that they can get any door they need through their various suppliers. Instead of ordering the doors when the job was assigned by my insurance, they waited to the last minute only to be told the doors were no longer in production like I had told the owner months prior. They had to order different doors that matched a door we replaced which took about a month and a half to 2 months to get delivered. When painting, nothing was covered up which resulted in paint getting on multiple surfaces and then having to repaint one of the doors to a vanity that was not affected by the water damage reported.

I have been waiting 2 weeks for my roof to get fixed. On Friday they finally came and took everything apart and told me they would come out the following Monday to finish up the job and the pictures below are how they left it looking and the job never got finished. I called to see what was going on and was met with a rude lady on the phone who told me that there are other people before me who are a priority. Well don’t start someone’s house if you know you are overbooked and can’t finish it. Don’t lie to customers about when they’re house will be done . Nails , lightbulbs were left out on our dresser, I have small children who live here, mirrors and vanity pieces left in the bedroom, equipment and items thrown in the shower, fans and heating equipment left throughout the house for over a week now and now they say it will take 2 more weeks to come out. Will a decent competent employee who works here please contact me. AT LEAST REACH OUT TO GIVE CUSTOMERS AN UPDATE INSTEAD OF LEAVING THEM IN THE DARK
