The Tree Guy

Josh is an experienced professional. His work is efficient, thorough and cost competitive. He is extremely responsive answering my first online inquiry the same day, coming to our home to provide a quote within 2 days and actually had an opening he fit us into the same week. The tree was was removed, area cleaned up, debris hauled away all within an hour. There was no damage whatsoever to existing landscaping in the process. I highly recommend and will definitely use him again for any tree services needed. You won't be disappointed.

UNETHICAL!!! But a nice guy. How he handled removing a neighbors tree by using my property was totally unprofessional. With my permission I allowed him to use my property to take down a large redwood and prune oak trees from my neighbors property. I told him it would be cool to get a beam milled out of the redwood tree. ONE BEAM! He said he knew of a miller that could possibly mill a beam. After thinking about what it would take, I decided not to pursue doing this. Weeks went by and the tree and all it's debris along with oak debris remained in my yard. I contacted him and asked why the tree debris weren't removed and he said he thought I wanted to mill the tree. I said no, after thinking about what it would take to cure it, I wasn't interested in doing this. In addition he never once provided the miller's info anyhow! He said he was dealing with staffing issues and he would do his best to have a crew remove the debris as soon as possible. Weeks went by again and he did nothing to remove the debris. I contacted the neighbor who had hire him, They said he told them that he was denied access to my property. I told him in the beginning, he had unlimited access! Why wouldn't I, the house was a vacant house and easily accessible. There's no fence to prevent him from entering my property! I even went so far as to offer a solution to having the debris removed. Subcontract with my tree guy, Proficient Tree Service (a Great company!). Still nothing ever got done to remove the tree debris from my property. My last attempt,(around three months after he started) I contacted the neighbor who originally hired him, they (if you can only imagine someone saying this!) said that I entered a legal verbal agreement with him and it was now my responsibility! Which was a lie! I never verbally agreed or much less taking all the debris!!! Josh was aware of this issue and had me pay thousands to have all of the debris removed from my property! I contacted him about reimbursement and he denied to comment. NICE GUY WHO CAN NEVER BE TRUSTED!!!

Very responsive. Came out within an hour of calling when I had a broken and hanging limb. Came back and did a full trim and pruning on a large oak tree. Josh and his crew were very thorough and cost was very reasonable. I recommend this business.
