Coastal Tree Experts

Had a great experience with Sean (sp?) and his expert crew. We had a major limb of a Stone pine break and almost crush our garage. The huge limb was literally inches from our structure. Sean accurately accessed the situation, provided helpful information and a fair price to handle the job. His crew showed up and demonstrated why experts deserve every dollar they earn. They safely surgically dissected the volatile branch got it to the ground despite having very little room to work with. They didn't even harm the planter area that lay beneath the limb adjacent to the garage. Excellent job fellas !!!

Josh and Shawn spent a lot of time with us discussing what could be done to save our oak trees. They were on site the whole time. They and their crew did a great job of not trampling our under tree growth.

We have previously worked with this company and had positive experiences, particularly with Josh. Thanks Josh! However, during this recent project, we were quoted by a different individual who well, over promised and under delivered. The discussion was cutting down 6 trees in one day for their day rate, but only 1 and 1/4 trees were completed, with the team returning the following day to finish the 2nd tree so a total of 2 trees were done. The weather was a contributing factor. Although the company adjusted the day rate it became apparent that the initial assessment of how much they could complete was underestimated. Unfortunately, the individual later denied stating they could complete the 6 trees in one day. To ensure your quote is honored, I’d recommend having a detailed quote that includes the work to be done at the day rate before proceeding with a day rate, as we did not feel the project was managed to fairly attain what was initially discussed. It also seemed the guys doing the cutting and the guy quoting were not on the same page creating a lot of the issues that occurred. We would have preferred they communicated between each other reassessed and re quoted us. (Attached is a photo of the work that was completed described above they later came back and fixed the second tree)
