I don’t usually leave long reviews, but Pacific Garden Landscaping earned one. We hired them for a major front and backyard renovation that included artificial turf, drainage improvements, a Belgard retaining wall, grading, irrigation work, and overall landscape redesign. From the beginning, Tony was easy to work with. He came out personally, listened to what we wanted, answered questions, and never pressured us into upgrades we didn’t need. We changed a few details during the project, including the retaining wall block selection and grading preferences, and he was flexible and willing to discuss options. One thing I appreciated was the communication throughout the project. The crew showed up consistently, kept the job moving, and were willing to explain what they were doing when I had questions about drainage, base preparation, turf installation, and retaining wall construction. The quality of the work really stood out. The retaining wall came out clean and level, the turf seams are difficult to find, the grading looks natural, and the overall project feels well thought out. They paid attention to details that most people won’t notice but that make a big difference in the final result. What impressed me most was that Tony came out personally for the final walkthrough. He walked the entire property with me, asked if I had any concerns, and made sure I was satisfied with the finished project before closing everything out. He even gave me an unexpected discount on part of the project without me asking. The backyard has become a space our family can actually use, especially with young kids. The front yard also looks dramatically better and has improved the overall curb appeal of the house. No project of this size is perfect, but whenever I had questions, they were addressed professionally. Overall, I feel like I received good value for what I paid and would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Garden Landscaping to friends, family, or neighbors looking for quality landscaping work in Monterey County. Pacific Landscaping & Tree service has done amazing work for me over the past year. They reconfigured my irrigation system, they have planted trees for me and they have done incredible stone work. All of the workers involved are highly professional and go above and beyond to do what ever work I ask for. We also use the company for routine maintenance and are very happy with the work they do. I have several upcoming projects that I will be calling them for in the future. I highly recommend this company.
