My house was built in 1910, so it's had more than a few new roofs over its life and was in dire need of a new one. I should have had a new roof installed years ago, but life gets in the way. So, my new roof wasn't just about replacing shingles. Due to the amount of wood rot, it needed new plywood, new facia boards, and everything else you can think of when it comes to a roof. Since I live in Naglee Park, an area of San Jose where homes were built in the early 1900s, the city regards my home as historic. That means contractors have to jump through a few more hoops than normal, which Conrad did. Conrad was upfront about when they could install the roof and kept me updated when the schedule had to be pushed out. That's good customer service. Also, the crew who installed my roof was top-notch. They came at exactly 7:30 AM and left at 3:30 PM after cleaning up. People walking by said they loved the roof. How often do you hear that? It's a roof!
