B & G ROOFING

I received a letter from my insurance company that my policy would be cancelled unless I replaced the roof on my second story addition...about 1100 square feet with 2 roofs so a tear off would probably be needed. I went about finding and contacting four companies for an estimate. I called B&G roofing first, and Jose contacted me within 1 day and was able to come meet with me on the roof to discuss the work needed. Jose sent his estimate within 3 days. Meanwhile I waited for several weeks for the other 3 roofers to come, meet and give estimates. 1 company was pushy, almost akin to buying a car and I felt like I was being snowed. When I make a big purchase I tend to look for a good fit and quality, not necessarily the lowest price. As it turned out B&G came in as the lowest bid, and the one that I felt the best about hiring. They completed the job in 2 days, and were neat and orderly with work, including 2 roof tear off and replacing and painting to match rotted tongue and groove under eave boards and warped and twisted facia boards. They even brought their own portable potty behind one of the trucks. I kept wondering if this job was actually going to have "a catch". There was none. B&G did a great job at a great price, and are local to Redwood City. Happy to spend the time to recommend them. - Jim

Jose and his crew were amazing. As promised on their contract the service and work was top notch. We did 4 quotes and chose B&G Roofing. They were always on time and 6 of them working to get the job done. We are so happy we chose them. It only took 3 days and the 4th day to do clean up. Our roof looks amazing!

I called Jose Mendoza Roofing due to a tree service i had hired. The tree service used my roof for a landing pad for tree limbs with up to 7 workers on the roof. The tree service punctured holes in the roof and allowed a large section if the tree trunk to fall onto the roof causing severe damage to roof structure Jose quickly returned my call and scheduled next day to stop by. Jose had a quote for the repair and for reroofing prepared within a couple of days. Jose quote was more than reasonable for damage repair and reroofing. Other roofing contractors in the area had quoted higher prices for the same work I chose Jose, first of all he was well mannered, confident about correctly doing the work and he answered all my questions. Jose started and finished the job in the time frame he had said he would Jose and his crew were very professional from start to finish. Jose was quick to respond to my text messages. I need to say that other roofing jobs i have had done for work and myself i was never asked what color of material i would like. Jose asked me this question and provided a color chart for my selection This was a great experience and and an excellent job done by Jose Mendoza Roofing. I would highly recommend without hesitation.
