Ability Access Plumbing & Rooter

STOP IMMEDIATELY and find another company for your plumbing needs. They were contracted by Old Republic Home Warranty, and they came to fix a leak between our first and second floors of our home. They opened up the drywall, said they fixed the leak, and left it open so that we could make sure it had stopped leaking. The next day it had improved some, but still leaked, so we had them come out again. When they came again, they said they needed to see if Old Republic would cover a drain, and that they would get back to us. Four days later, no news, I had to call again, and they set an appointment to come out. Today I got a text that the appointment was canceled. I called to see why and they said Old Republic had refused to cover the drain, but that they were happy to visit to repair the drywall. Who would fix drywall when there is still a leak??? WTH??? When I called Old Republic, they said that Highway Plumbing NEVER called them for approval, they just said the work was completed. I demanded a REAL plumbing company to finish the work, and Old Republic came through. I made a call to Highway to speak with a manager, and one is supposed to call me back. I don't have high expectations based on what I've gone through with this company so far. I honestly don't see how a company this inept can stay in business, I won't be surprised if they are gone very soon. STAY FAR AWAY from Highway Plumbing & Rooter!!! One star is one too many!!!

I needed a quick same-day plumbing fix in my bathroom. Gill arrived within three hours of my call. He figured out what was wrong, had the supplies in his truck, and completed the work quickly. I would definitely recommend this company.

My hot water heater stopped working so I called my insurance company and they sent out Ability Access Plumbing and Rooter. They did showed up on time and only looked at the water heater and just said you need a new one. I have insurance for the repairs however they stated that many of their items they had to do were called modification which the insurance would not cover. Yes they only want to make money (example $45 to move two straps up 4 inches, $95 to install two flex supplies lines, $75 for a ground wire and $55 for spacers which was two boards screwed to the wall.) They did put in a brand new water heater however it didn't work. I called them the next morning (Friday) and they said to call my insurance company to request a call back. I did and they said they would come out on Monday. Well Monday morning they called and said they were not going to come and that I had to call the manufacturer to have them fix it. They wouldn't stand behind their work. I call another plumbing company when they arrived they fixed it in 15 minutes. The upper heating eliminate was burned up because Ability Access Plumbing and Rooter turned on the power to the water heater before the tank was full of water which fried the heating eliminate. Very bad company to do business with. I recommend that you stay away from them unless you want to loose money.
