We were having a problem with two Sycamore trees in our front yard. After receiving a strong recommendation from the manager of a local turf supply store, I called Mike Evans, owner of West Valley Spray. Mike responded immediately, and after having me describe the problem we were experiencing with our Sycamore trees, Mike explained that the problem was not likely to be what I had thought it might be, and went on to tell me why he came to this conclusion. Mike then made a couple of recommendations on what I could do on my own to determine the real cause of the problem, and how best to resolve it, and that was that. In short, my conversation with Mike was both educational and very heart-warming. That Mike would take the time to speak with me for several minutes, diagnose the problem, and then send me on my way to resolve the issue on my own, and at no charge for his time, has caused me to write this review. Based upon the questions that Mike asked me, along with his recommendations, I am extremely confident that Mike's advice is right on the money, and I'm looking forward to having him help us to care for the many other trees on our property. Michael and his team are true experts and very experienced. They are also pleasant to work with, polite and considerate. One massive differentiation that I noticed was that they went down in the crawl space and sprayed there which is where ants tend to come up into the house. They also sprayed the outside. Further, they did a light odorless "bate" type spray on the inside along all of the base boards so that any remaining ants would take the bate and go back to the nest thus wiping out the rest. Grateful for their help. 5 stars.
