I have been battling fleas for over a year. I was at my wits end, I had tried everything. I had literally bombed my house every weekend for three weeks in a row. I called Ailing house. They were able to come out that day. Dimitri was amazing. He explained the whole process and what to expect in the weeks to come. I am happy to say I am flea free. I would definitely call them again for any pest control needs.

What a complete joke of a company. NO professionalism and they do not stick by their word or their warranty. We called them out to do an inspection on our house for termites and they recommended the houses be tented. We went through the whole process and had the house tented expecting the problem to be solved. I want to also say, that we are not professionals in any sense and we are going to go off what they (the "professionals") recommend. Not long after the house was tented, we ended up having an ant problem, ok, no big deal, that wasn't the issue...the issue was after we put out traps for the ants, we noticed these bugs that we thought were larger ants so we kept putting out more traps thinking it would help the issue. It didn't. There were more and more, so we did some more investigating. To our surprise, we figured out these larger bugs which we originally thought were ants turned out to be termites...again! So, we called Ailing House Pest Management back again, knowing we had a warranty and explained the situation. They said they would come out and take a look and we would go from there. They came and did another inspection and ended up sending us a new quote for a whole different treatment. They said that these are DIFFERENT termites and require a different treatment which was an additional $1,600 after we already paid well over $2,000 for the original tenting. So, you mean to tell me that in their original inspection of the house they failed to recognize these "different" termites? It sounds to me that they mis-diagnosed the problem because there is no way that a month after the tenting of the house, that these "new" termites just showed up. On their original inspection, they had free reign of the property, and we expected them to INSPECT for termites. We told them, “Do what you have to do." We expected that to mean exactly how it sounds...Handle the situation. They tried to tell us that they only did a limited inspection, and they didn't inspect for this other type of termite. They never mentioned to us, hey, there is potential for this other type of termite and if this tenting doesn't work then we may have to inspect for this other type of termite. IF they would have told us that, we would've said...do the inspection now so we don't have to do this later. That's not what happened. We were under the impression that the recommendation for the house tenting was going to solve the termite issue and that was that. The tenting was very expensive, and it is not right for them to try to charge us almost double now after the fact. Ailing House Pest Management is unprofessional and unethical scam artists. Don't do business them. Take your business to a chain, like Terminix who will treat you fair at a good price.

Just after last Xmas, we found a rat next to some bushes in our back yard, alive but torpid and hardly moving. We guessed that it had gotten poisoned from bait in the pet proof boxes that Ailing House had set out around our property. It had apparently crawled into the yard to die, & when we found it there we got concerned that if our small (but aggressive) dogs had found it before we did, they might have attacked it & gotten poisoned themselves. We disposed of the rat & when the agent for Ailing House came out for their next inspection (someone we hadn’t seen before - not unusual for Ailing House) we talked to him, and he conceded that that was indeed a possibility. We asked him to remove the poison from the boxes (which he did) & replace the poison in the boxes with traps, instead. He said he didn’t have any traps with him but would let the office know & they would send someone out later that week to install them. Scroll ahead to mid-May, 2 or 3 inspections and billings later (we rarely see them when they do come - they leave their notices/invoices hooked on our door). I happened to be home when their inspector showed up (another one I hadn’t seen before), & I walked around with him on his rounds. We have 4 boxes on our property, & one in the house. We got to the first box & he lifted the lid & - nothing. No rats, but no traps either. It was the same for all of the other boxes. There were no traps in any of the boxes. Turns out Ailing House had not installed any traps after our conversation in December, but - they had regularly inspected the empty boxes and billed us for thar ‘service.’ They never mentioned that there were no traps in the boxes, or anything at all that could catch a rat. I don’t know what others might think, but I consider that not just negligence, but a kind of cheating, taking money without providing us with any the services I contracted & paid for. I called the office and complained, of course, & then got 3 calls back from 3 different individuals throughout the course of that day who assured me that somebody from the office would “call me shortly” to talk about a refund, but nobody ever did. And nobody from the office has ever called to apologize. A big, big ‘thumbs down’ for Ailing House.
