I acknowledge i did not have enough fund to pay for irrigation from them to now know they would not guarantee my trees planted thru them but all three (especially one) large Green Gaint trees I had to buy thru them from Western tree are not doing so good and was i was told by a local nursery is DEAD, but I can absolutely comment towards the customer serive i experienced being a residential home buyer. 1.) They took forever with multiple follow ups by me on tree prices from them thru Western tree like one whole week and i was prucahsing over a thousand dollars worth of trees (besides the almost same amount for labor); 2.) There is a second (white female) secretary who cussed and was speaking out loud about her personal business while I was on-site speaking with a Mexican female on purchasing 9 trees both via telephone and onsitr. The meciacm female was apologetic and shared she already tried to make the owner awarenof her (white female) behavior but was not fired/replaced. 3.) I congratulate the Mexican female (which is why this rati g is two and not one) as she was the main reason why I kept being due diligent to buy and pay for labor thru them BUT when they arrived I paid for equipment that was not needed and I should have been told there was no warranty for trees I could not see the trees prior to labored paid for planting. 4.) The lack of importance I felt as a residential buyer. I tried to wait until it was needed to ask for assistance since only ADVISE was by a laborer to water every day and pkt most likely from western tree were good for 6 mths this i did not think i needed more to prevent the eventual issue of wjat i knew was truly one trees was no good upon arrival. 5.) I felt that if you are not a contract you are out of luck. Ie I have one tree that was never looking good is advised by a family nursery as dead from Sal I have to pay for material and told "maybe" in terms of labor being refunde anything after fall. Like why do I have to wait so long. 6.) My husband attempted to appear on site to get dry soil material i had discussed but was met by other commentments and staff clocked out was more important. To note I spend over 1500 dolllar on both trees and the same for labor, so am I not important. 6.) Telling me you bought the same trees for your own property at the same time and they are doing fine is hypocritical and seems sus, but again I was never told they would not accommodate any issues with trees and labor on my property. I did however contact a nursery near Chico and they advised Sal's is only okay for large bid contracts. 7.) Overall for how much I had to follow up on just pricing on trees and all the fees besides labor to have trees planted it was not worth it to go thru them. Like why did you not follow up with me and I had to ask for help then told to wait until after fall to see if anything survives..like it is Sept so there is still heat etc amd i planted them via YOU. I gave two stars based on the Mexican female who helped me because she really tired and wanted to provide me with most customer service BUT when the owner arrived onsite didnt give me any guidance on the trees and the skid steer was barely used (but was full price on me) and the "workers" did try to plant trees but they arrived without the hand equipment needed and an argument on this is kine npt your happe ed between owner and employee occurred. I Was the ONLY one that shoveled the soil I also paid for for all the trees (9). I paid for planting trees and soil admenenmemt, like i didn't pay for soil admenent and had to stand in the trailer MYSELF shoveling even though I paid thousands for this "labor and equipment" for planting. If you are not a large contractor bid PLEASE do not go thru this company, go to a local nursery that you get to see the plants you are buying because clearly this place did not care about what I paid for and was provided bare min. service. PLEASE go thru a landscaper recommended by the nursery. The locale nursery felt such empathy for my experience from Sals they gave me hrs of advise.
