Five stars for Black Diamond. We were looking for a special design to transform our sand dune backyard into our dream backyard. Of three designs we received, Frances Krebs was the most professional, creative and detail oriented. Her design fulfilled our vision and the execution by her crew led by Ismael and Raul, made our dream come true. Frances (Black Diamond) was the only one of the three companies from which we received designs who was able to build 25 paver stairs and a walkway up the sand dune and create a platform for our view of the golf course and Monterey Bay. Frances and her crew were always punctual, responsible, skillful, considerate and professional. They were able to accomplish all we asked for. Black Diamond, with Frances as the designer and project manager, was definitely the right choice.

I could not be happier with my new Black Diamond patio. From start to finish Stephanie, my designer and project manager, was on top of it. She was prompt and full of information from our first consultation. During the design process she always responded quickly to my questions or additional requests. We signed the contract and they started the project a few weeks later as promised. As the project progressed and things came up she worked with Alfredo, the installer, to make adjustments and adaptations. Stephanie came every few days to check on the progress. Alfredo’s crew were the hardest working group I have ever seen. They arrived each morning on time, worked non stop all day everyday to get the job done in the time promised. Working with Stephanie and Alfredo was effortless. As I said I could not be happier with my new patio. And now I can enjoy it as summer is right around the corner.

She really listened to what we wanted and helped us come up with a plan that completely transformed our plain, unattractive backyard into a beautiful, resort-like space.
