Our HOA hired JPA through our management company, and unfortunately, the service was consistently disappointing. Despite repeated requests, many maintenance tasks were delayed or ignored. Communication was poor, and several homeowners experienced dismissive or rude behavior when raising concerns. In our opinion, JPA appeared more responsive to the management company than to the residents they were hired to serve. As a board, we eventually decided to end the contract due to ongoing issues with accountability and quality of work. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend their services.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the team at JPA Landscape, and I can confidently say they are amazing. From the moment you interact with them, you can tell they truly care about their work and their customers. The staff is professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to come across a team that combines skill with such a genuine, positive attitude. Highly recommend JPA Landscape to anyone looking for quality service and great people!
Think twice before hiring this company to maintain your landscaping. They were hired to maintain the landscape for a property built in 2019. Our landscaping has suffered under their care. They are basically a “mow and blow” service. Their workers lack training, supervision and common sense. You would expect a landscaping company to be proactive about identifying issues in the landscape so that it could be remedied in a timely manner. More often than not, they don’t act unless it is reported by homeowners. At which point, the damage has already been done. If you decide to go with this company, be prepared to do a lot of babysitting. During the course of 5 years, the following has happened at our property: -They were asked to remove a dead tree. They ended up removing the tree next to it that was flowering and obviously alive. -Vast majority of trees on the property are leaning due to lack of maintenance. They rarely redid the stakes over the past 5 years and failed to train the trees to grow up right. Now it maybe too late to correct it. -They don’t seem to notice when plants are dying. They do not remove dead plants. They don’t remove weeds. -They severely prune the flowering bushes into hedges to the point where the plants don’t get to bloom each season. Various shrubs are stunted and deformed due to their pruning. -They blew away all the mulch including the special, expensive mulch used in the bioswale. They have blown all the topsoil from the flowerbeds exposing rock, plastic, pipes, irrigation pipes/tubes. -They are contracted to visit weekly but don’t always show up. Some weeks, they show up and do minimal work. Have seen them blow areas that don’t have leaves or any debris possibly to show they are “working” -They failed to maintain the irrigation system. This has resulted in various trees, shrubs dying throughout the property. There was a period of 2 months last year during the summer where they failed to notice that the trees were dying from an irrigation failure. By the time it was fixed, 9 grown trees had died. This year, more trees are dying and they didn’t address it until a resident reported it. At which point they found irrigation issues and will be charging the HOA $600 to fix it. Why did they have to wait for a resident to report it? -Shrubs fell over during a storm. Despite being observed on site for 2 weeks, they did not seem to notice them. They were not removed until a resident reported it 3 weeks later. -Workers have cut down landscaping plants possibly thinking they are weeds? I have no idea what their thought process is. They seem to cut stuff randomly possibly to show they are doing “work.” Anyway photos/videos speak louder than words. You’ve been warned.
