Fast Haul - Junk Removal - Junk Hauling

I unfortunately have to give our recent experience with Fast Haul a poor review. Per the website, the company states that we schedule an appointment, someone will come onsite, and then, a price can be better estimated when they arrive onsite, and we will move forward from there. We didn't even get past the first step. We woke up to meet them at our home, and waited about a half an hour since it was an hour window. We decided to give them a call, and were baffled by the lack of accountability and communication. The person I spoke to stated that he not only saw my email, but that he let it go, assuming that I would look for someone else. This is very unprofessional and a complete waste of our time. We would have appreciated a simple communication from their end that we should not expect to receive the services from them. I then heard several excuses why he decided not to communicate with us. We we're really disappointed, as the company appeared to do great work and I loved their seemingly professional service. If you're looking for a reliable service for your home, maybe you should look elsewhere. --- UPDATE in response to the owner's comments: Thank you for the response. To clarify for other readers: I have no record of a missed call or voicemail. While I understand you don’t handle poison ivy, that was never communicated to me until I had to call the day of the appointment. This reinforces the central point of my review: my complaint isn't about the refusal of service, but about the lack of communication that resulted in my wasted time. When I called your office, I was told my request was seen but ignored. A simple email or text stating you could not take the job—for any reason—would have been professional and respected my time. To see a valid customer complaint met with an accusation of being a fake competitor is both disheartening and unprofessional. I hope in the future you will handle customer communication more directly and with professionalism. My review stands as an honest account of my experience. I consider this matter closed.

FastHaul was awesome. They took care of abandoned furniture, some appliances and other junk (including some surprise items). They were professional, incredibly friendly and really helped us a lot. Extremely satisfied. Thanks so much.
