Smit's Solar Heating & Air Conditioning

We are longtime customers who have always received friendly, professional service from Smits and are very happy to put our HVAC needs in their hands. Seth is super efficient at scheduling and monitoring work. Technician Jay is thorough and always friendly and happy to explain what he finds or to teach us to care for our systems. The maintenance program assures that nothing slips through the cracks.

We've used Smit's Solar Heating & Air since we moved to Placerville in 2017. We only had a swamp cooler which wasn't enough for the warming climate. Smit's installed an Air conditioning unit that integrated perfectly with our existing heating system.. They also installed a backup whole house generator and transfer switch that's been a god-send with the flaky PG&E power in the Placerville area. The Generator works great and Smit's does the yearly maintenance on it. I highly recommend Smit's for their professionalism, and dedication to quality work. I would not hesitate to use them for any of their services.

Smit's has been an outstanding resource for keeping our HVAC system in shape and running well. Very responsive, Seth does a great job sizing up whatever the issue is and getting one of his service people out ASAP. In particular, Jay, the service tech who has come to the house and done an amazing job of diagnosing issues and fixing things on the spot. Their pricing is very reasonable and there is no one else I would call if our heating or air conditioning is having an issue. I cannot recommend Smit's highly enough!
