Golden Bear Heating & Air

This is our second time doing business with Golden Bear and we couldn't be happier. They provide quality service at a fair price! The technician, Travis was very professional and explained the work being performed. Tested the equipment thoroughly and left work area very clean. Don't get taken to the cleaners by other untrustworthy companies and make sure to get an estimate from Golden Bear!

Golden Bear does not provide reliable customer support. They installed a new HVAC system in our house earlier this year and that process was fine. However, their subsequent customer service and follow up has been poor. It has been more than two months since we asked for an estimate/proposal on some fixes and updates and despite following up with them, Golden Bear has not provided the promised proposal or any useful follow up.

We had a wonderful experience with Golden Bear on a large project - replacing our old HVAC system with a heat pump, new ducts, asbestos removal etc. The owner, TK, is amazing to work with and told us about various rebates available through SJCE, TechClean etc. There were some hiccups in asbestos removal (through a sub-contractor) but TK owned it well and got a different sub-contractor to finish the job to our satisfaction. Overall, we can't recommend them enough! The entire crew was pleasant to deal with and they finished the work on time and within budget.
