Cruz Brothers Hardwood Floors

AWFUL SERVICE We called Cruz brothers floor services, Oscar said he was going to make he's best to call or come over to give an estimate Friday the 26th He did not call or make it. We called him Saturday morning the 27th He said he was going to be over to give the estimate within 20 minutes to make it at 9:00AM it's Monday the 29th 7:47 pm we still have not heard from Him He's service doesn't deserve a star DO NOT WAIT FOR THIS GUY...AWFUL SERVICE

Cruz Brothers ( I only met Oscar) are great. They installed a thousand square feet of 4" white oak planks to replace our previous floor that had been damaged by a flood and removed. Oscar clearly explained the process, the schedule and finish options before work began. The resulting floor is absolutely the most beautiful thing in our house after my wife. I 'd give the Cruz Brothers a ten if I could.

The floors look great. So there is that. The men were kind. There is that too. And there were typical issues. In ripping out carpet and restoring the original oak, there was a closet that only had plywood and needed to be refinished. In the quote there was a charge for two closets but it turned out the second closet did have the original floor under the carpet. Because I could not walk on the floor I didn't realize only one closet needed the to be finished. I was charged for two. I call it my "$1000 closet". Also, the men cut the internet cable by mistake. We were left to to our own devices to buy $30 of supplies and fix it. And finally, they left three transition pieces from bedrooms to main hallway unfinished. We finally bought the transition pieces ourselves and had to pester, pester and pester some more to get them installed. They do look great however. So, the floors look great and there were definitely bumps in the road.
