Mattie's Hardwood Flooring

I can't rave enough about my new, refinished wood floors, thanks to John and the Mattie crew. John and team were very efficient, timely, and professional and gave me a very competitive price. My old, original floors were stripped, repaired and a clean lovely clear coat applied! I am so happy...thank you, John and crew :-)

As the hiring GC, John helped me with a new construction build in West Petaluma. In getting to the final floor material selected, he patiently ran through at least 6 bids and gave his objective feedback on each variant. Once material was selected, John was given a scheduled for the project and made his committed dates. John’s install and finish team were also easy to resolve onsite issues with. All the team were very personable and good additions to the full job site crew. Of course some other higher level issues came up as the usually do and John was always quick to resolve by phone or with a site visit if needed. Reasonable prices for high quality owner/team and great output in the finished product. Mattie’s Floors will definitely be on my next job!

My wife and I recently purchased a beautiful home with natural red oak floors that had been beaten, abused, and neglected over its +30 year life. In short, it was in desperate need of attention. Near the close of escrow, our realtor recommended Mattie’s Hardwood Flooring and relayed that John was the man who could bring our tired and beat up floor to life. Undoubtedly one of the best recommendations ever made to me. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with John, his business, and crew. John was easy to reach, remained communicative, was flexible with our schedule, remained on budget and completed the job well within the projected timeline. The job went smoothly from start to finish and the floors tuned out BEAUTIFUL. After careful consideration, my wife and I chose to have the floors treated with Bona NaturalSeal and we are stoked with the finished product. I must also mention John’s boys - Rutilio and Louis. These guys worked their tales off and did an amazing job brining our floor back to life. Both masters of their craft and it was apparent they took pride in the quality of their work. Both Rutilio and Louis were polite, professional, and hardworking good dudes. They respected our home and left the job site clean daily. 10/10 all around.
