As a design-build firm delivering high-end residential projects, we work with a very limited group of trades that can meet our standards. This hardwood flooring team earned that position on our Burlingame project—a 5,000 sq. ft. custom residence with complex detailing, including bespoke stair fabrication and a full chevron installation on the top floor. This was not a typical flooring scope. The chevron layout required strict geometric discipline, consistent spacing, and flawless alignment across large continuous areas. Execution was exact. Lines are clean, transitions are intentional, and the overall result reads as a designed architectural surface—not just a finish material. The custom stair package further demonstrated their capability. Tight tolerances, complex intersections, and finish continuity were handled with precision. Integration between flooring, treads, and risers was seamless—exactly what we expect on projects at this level. This residence has been featured in Rue Magazine and Modern Luxury Silicon Valley. The level of detailing required for this home was exceptionally high, and this team executed to that benchmark without compromise. From a builder’s standpoint, just as important as craftsmanship is discipline. They were organized, responsive, and maintained control of schedule and site conditions throughout. No shortcuts, no excuses—just consistent, high-level execution. We do not hand out recommendations lightly. This is a team we will continue to use on our most demanding projects and one we can confidently place in front of clients expecting a true luxury finish.
