I had a really great experience working with RSL Structural Inc. and Ricardo, the owner. Ricardo completed our earthquake retrofitting, foundation crack repairs, and all related structural work, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Ricardo was easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He took the time to explain the work, answered my questions, and made the whole process feel much less stressful. He also handled all of the city permit paperwork, which was a huge relief and saved me a lot of time and hassle. The work was done as promised, inspections were scheduled smoothly, and everything passed city inspection without any issues. It gave me a lot of confidence knowing the job was done right and up to code. If you’re looking for someone reliable and honest for structural or foundation work, I highly recommend RSL Structural Inc. and Ricardo. I would absolutely work with him again.

I can wholeheartedly say that Ricardo is a great contractor. After getting quotes from 6 different contractors , I decided to go with Ricardo based on his experience with Earthquake Brace and Bolt retrofits (EBB), his professionalism, and his friendliness. He walked me through everything step-by-step, which made me feel prepared for the process. He took care of the permits, submitted all the necessary documents and plans, and prepared me for exactly what to expect. When the work actually started, he showed up on time each day, was prompt with all his communications, and got everything done exactly when and how he said he would. Ricardo always showed up with a smile on his face, and he was so good with my toddler who followed him around as he unloaded materials from his truck. My kid calls him "Uncle Ricardo." The inspector told me that Ricardo's work went above and beyond what was expected in an EBB retrofit, and Ricardo certainly went above and beyond with making everything easy for me and my family. I highly recommend him.

I worked with Ricardo through the CA Earthquake Brace & Bolt program. He was very professional, courteous, and did great work. He even helped fix a broken latch on my side gate that I didn't ask for. One bit of feedback: He's extremely busy and sometimes it took a few days for him to get back to me, and I wish he could have tarped our stuff in the basement before he started work.
