We had a fantastic experience working with GR Innovative Builders, Inc. on both our ADU construction and full home renovation. From start to finish, the team was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with. A special shoutout to the foreman, Gustavo (“Gus”), who was there for us throughout the project. He was always responsive, patient with our many questions and requests, and—most importantly—he consistently followed through. That kind of reliability made a huge difference during a project of this size. GR is a family-run business, led by owner Gilbert Rodriguez, whose experience and expertise really show. He’s clearly a veteran in the construction industry and brought a level of knowledge and problem-solving that went beyond what we expected. In addition to working closely with our architect, Gilbert contributed creative ideas and practical solutions whenever we ran into challenges—whether it was navigating permits, resolving design issues, or adapting to tricky conditions in the space. The entire team was also very accommodating with our schedule, which we really appreciated. They didn’t just execute the plan—they helped improve it, ultimately delivering a result that exceeded our expectations. We’re extremely happy with our new ADU and renovated home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GR Innovative Builders, Inc. to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable, and thoughtful contractor.

They deserve 10 stars. Simply the best in every way. The entire team - Marlyn, Gilbert and Gus - were lovely to work with, even under stress and pressure. Their professionalism was unwavering. We did a complex kitchen remodel with structural changes, and they were thorough and detailed in their work, provided white glove service and kept the project moving, staying ahead of schedule and within budget. They were transparent about change orders and did not nickel and dime us. Although they weren't the cheapest, they weren't the most expensive and were spot on on their original budget and quote. Worth every penny. Communications was terrific, service was 5 star, and the craftsmanship is superb. I would work with them and recommend them at every opportunity.
