I've been using Rafael for many many years. As a single gal that owned a house in the Bay Area I was always in need of a good handy man at reasonable prices. Rafael started working with me over 15 years ago and would always be available to fix whatever it was that I needed. He always had a network if reliable people to use for specialized things that may have been necessary like floor refinishing, plaster, tile, ect. He has always been very reasonable with his pricing and never does the Atherton overbid game as soooo many do. Hes very reliable and honest. He's actually working with me now on my sons house in Atherton and we are doing a remodeling job room by room . It's looking fantastic! The people he uses like painters and so on do some of the best work I've seen . I'm in the rental property bussiness and design bussiness in a private person capacity so I've had alot of experience working with other in Sacramento and even Croatia but i can assure you Rafael is top top! His work ethics are excellent and his finish work also is excellent! I have an eagle eye so I'm not the average easy client. He's never failed me !!!! He's also great about really listening to your ideas and working with you to achieve whatever is your going for . Or if your looking for ideas He's always got great suggestions. I'd give him 10 stars if that were possible here.Rafael lives in Redwood City so hes very close by which is also fantastic. My son has a house in Tahoe and many times he's used Rafael and crew to go there to fix things .You can't go wrong by using him for anything to do with construction. He pretty much does everything well from : Building, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, flooring, tiling, heating, design, kitchen and bathroom cabinets installation. Basically anything you can possibly need from large projects to the smallest simple jobs he can do and do well! I'm sooooo thankful I found him so many years ago and have definitely relied on him heavily over the years (especially in the leaner times) He's always been wonderful fair and reliable. Any work He's ever done for me has held up beautifully over the years and I've never had to have any of his work redone. If you value long term, quality work done by fantastic people and fair pricing (Yes, in the Bay Area) than he's your man!
