We worked with Mark at Pelayo Construction for more than a year to build a 2,200 sqft fire-resistant residence in rural Placer County. The initial design was quoted by several contractors who all delivered quotes within a few percent of each other but were all twice what we could afford. Only Mark provided a detailed quote that we were able to use for a complete redesign. Mark worked with us and our designer as a partner to incorporate different materials and different building techniques to cut the cost of the project dramatically. Mark executed the construction of the house flawlessly and on budget, always helpful and communicative. We couldn’t be happier.

We recently used Pelayo Construction to add a fireplace to our living room. Mark did an incredible job. He is meticulous in all that he does and was so great to work with. We will definitely use him again for our future projects. Couldn’t recommend him more!
