West Coast Floor Company

Our experience with West Coast Floor Company was great! We knew what we wanted and Jesus made it happen. No BS, and no trying to talk us in to something else. He brought samples to our home and was available by text during the beginning phase as it was difficult to coordinate our schedules. We received a reasonable quote in a timely manner and then had to pause the start time for a few months. No problem. Once we were ready, a date was agreed upon, materials started arriving, and work began. We didn't realize how much construction and disruption it would be to replace floors throughout our entire house. Herringbone flooring is an art and the installer was so precise. The team was friendly and consistent. The detailed finish work , down to matching our cabinet paint, is appreciated And our dream floors are beautiful! We've had them for 6 months now. We highly recommend West Coast Floor Company.

West Coast Floor does outstanding work. Phil was excellent at giving an accurate estimate with a variety of options for restoring the original wood floors. Jesus is excellent at the getting the colors to come out beautiful. They were on time and kept to the estimated schedule. The results came out beautiful. Throughout the project Jesus and Phil checked in regularly to make sure that we were happy with the work.

I scheduled an estimate with West Coast Floor on 2/4/25 for 2/18/25 and was initially impressed when I received a response within 13 minutes. On 2/11, I confirmed with Jesus that he would arrive between 1 and 1:30 PM--at no point did he mention that someone else would be handling the estimate. On 2/18, I took time off work and made the trip from Santa Rosa to my San Rafael property, only to be completely stood up. No one from West Coast Floor showed up, called, texted, or emailed. At 4:30 PM, I sent Jesus a message, assuming something might have happened. Despite his previous responsiveness, he never replied. On 2/19, I called the company and asked to speak with the owner--turns out, that was Jesus. I explained what had happened and asked why no one showed up. His response? "Jeff went home sick." This was news to me since I had been expecting Jesus himself. I pointed out the inconvenience, expecting any reputable business owner to immediately take responsibility and apologize. Instead, Jesus seemed aloof, only offering a half-hearted apology after I pressed him on the lack of communication. He then mentioned that they were doing a lot of "night jobs at resorts" and that their "days are short." If that's the case, why take on more work? The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic communication is unacceptable. If you value your time and expect reliability, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I wish I had more closely read similar reviews before wasting an entire workday with WCF, Jesus, and whoever "Jeff" is.
