We work with Jim and the Lamorinda Floors Team several times per year to provide carpeting and other flooring for our real estate listings. They are always responsive, and the price, communication and quality of work are a value to our team and process. Showroom is easy to access and well laid out - allowing us to see and feel a wide variety of samples. It is a pleasure doing business with you.
NEW CARPET We recarpeted the bedroom wing of our house -- Lamorinda Floors did a fine job. No complaints at all. We weren't very price-sensitive. My guess is that other places might be a little cheaper, but more hassle. We needed to get it done correctly and on time. LF did so.
Pretty disappointing experience. I don't know if there are subfloor issues, installation problems, or the we chose. What I do know is my very expensive new floor is uneven, squeaks, creaks, and moves worse than before. The manufacturer came out and said "he has seen worse". Instead of having a new showpiece in my house that will last 10-30 years, I have started saving to tear out my new floor and find another vendor.
