We didn’t end up hiring Eddie, Sarmad and the EDR crew but based on the quality of their work and their honest and straightforward professionalism, we would definitely consider working with them in the future. We visited a gorgeous property they remodeled and it was designed impeccably and the quality of work also looked very good. It was also clear how much the owners loved Eddie and Sarmad and let us spend a long time visiting their home. We’re grateful to Eddie and Sarmad for their patience with us as doing a first time ground up build is a huge investment for us and we had a lot of questions and concerns. They also went above and beyond their normal bid process when we asked for a more detailed bid for our budgeting purposes. Highly recommend reaching out to EDR!

They delivered on time, within budget, and with exceptional craftsmanship, even as my project scope expanded by my choice and not because anything was suggested or upsold. Their honesty, integrity, communication, and follow-through were outstanding, and I always felt like a true partner throughout the remodel. If I could give more than 5 stars in every category, I absolutely would. This was my first renovation and I was very nervous, but after researching and interviewing multiple contractors, I chose EDR Design Build for their expertise, communication style, respect for budget, and quality. They exceeded every expectation. Eddie was personable, authentic, flexible, and incredibly collaborative. He supported my evolving vision and worked seamlessly with both the vendors I wanted to use and their own excellent team. Sarmad is a true craftsman and problem-solver who was always reachable and focused on achieving the best structural and aesthetic outcome. When we discovered that part of my 100-year-old home had no foundation, he handled it calmly, strategically, and with complete integrity. He also restored my 50-year-old skylight into a beautiful, durable feature that preserved its original charm. Sarmad and Eddie treat their team and vendors with genuine respect, and the quality of work shows through in every detail. There was never a moment when we stopped by that people were not working. Everyone was focused, professional, and they were always reachable. Because of their vision, craftsmanship, expertise, and strong network of wonderful vendors and crew, our home was ultimately featured in an online magazine and selected for a local home and garden tour benefiting charity. This was a complete surprise to us, and we were proud to give full credit to this amazing team that delivered beyond our expectations for our forever home. Weekly communication, in-person walkthroughs, and the Buildertrend app made every step transparent. I always knew exactly what was owed, what remained, and what was scheduled next. The final result exceeded anything I imagined and still does not feel real. I added a few photos of before and the rest after. What stands out most is their accountability after completion. Even once my home was turnkey, they stayed responsive, helpful, and familiar with every detail. I would choose EDR Design Build again without hesitation.

We hired EDR Design Build to build our home from the ground up, and overall it was a really solid experience. Building a house is stressful no matter what, but their team helped keep things organized and realistic. Communication was consistent, and they were upfront about timelines and costs. There were a few small adjustments along the way (which is expected), but nothing ever felt out of control. The quality of the work speaks for itself, and we’re happy living in the home now!
