Generations Wood Flooring

Mike of Generations Wood Flooring is absolutely amazing. He came to stain our new bannisters, and we couldn't be happier with the work he did. We had a specific color in mind before he came, and he was able to recreate that color through a mixture of different stain colors. He was incredibly patient and laid back as he would make one mixture, only to have us ask for slightly different variations. He knows his work so well, that he was able to make the "exact" color that was in our mind. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a lifetime of experience working with wood since he was 12 years old. I can't even begin to tell you how perfect our bannisters look. He takes his time, does it right, and does whatever is necessary to make his client happy. Yes, we are beyond happy!! Not only that, but Mike is a wonderful human being. We got lots of chances to talk with him, and we were surprised by his professionalism, world views, and his love of everyone and everything. I know this isn't part of what someone looks at when hiring people, but I must say that it sure is nice to have someone in our home that is a decent human being through and through. As for his work, do not even hesitate to call him. Mike does a fantastic job, and he literally did the job as if he were at his own home. I plan to post pictures of his work on this post soon, so you can see how great his work is. Thanks Mike for the perfect job you did, but also thanks for being the person you are. It was a joy to have you in our home. Seriously people, you will not be disappointed if you hire him.
