Got a great deal on carpet, I shopped around and got by far the best rate on carpet from here. The owner (I think) was a big help, I told them what I was looking for and they delivered exactly what I wanted. (Bonus love the shop cat)

I received multiple bids for flooring/ install. I chose Bob's Discount Carpets due to the energy I received from the staff, which gave me confidence that they were the right company for the job. First Bill the owner, gave me great advise in choosing the flooring that fits my needs. I recently purchased an older 70's home and husband and I were doing all the renovation, but due to the floors being unleveled I didn't feel confident in installing the floors. I am beyond happy with the results from Bob's Discount Carpets. The entire install demo & team did a quick and efficient job. My vinyl floors came out beautiful. I also liked the fact that I was able to purchase & have them install of the base boards; other companies I spoke to prior said they don't have them available. Husband and I chose to caulk the baseboards after install and everything looks absolutely flawless. The vinyl flooring Bill recommended to us to is also scratch resistant & so very easy to manage. If I could give 10-stars I would. Thank you and your entire team!

Curt is such an incredible human being! And, the staff is always a pleasure to work with! I have always loved the flooring side of their business, but truly Curt is a gem to our community! I was conducting an estate sale for a neighboring business across from his store. This was no ordinary estate sale, but rather a full machine shop full of heavy equipment weighing thousands of pounds each. He came over to say hello on numerous occasions, smiling like he always is. He offered us to use his forklift and we said thanks but we have one we're bringing in for the sale. The only issue was, the night before, our forklift decided it didn't want to assist with the thousands of pounds it was about to be working on. We ended up with a rental from Rental Guys. He saw that we rented a fork lift and we explained why. He insisted and generously offered to use his forklift again once the rental went back! And, his forklift was no used piece of equipment, it was nearly new with barely 500 hours on it! I am a 3rd generation to Nevada County, this is what I love about about our locals. They're always ready to lend a helping hand. Curt is an amazing human being and one that would help a perfect stranger. If you ever need any kind of flooring, these guys can do it all!
