Fresno Epoxy Crew Floor Refinishing & Concrete Coating

I was not planning to leave a review, but after repeated emails and texts asking for one, I think honesty is fair. This company did an epoxy job on my garage in May 2025. To start with the positives: Nick, the sales rep, was excellent. He was professional, informative, and thorough while I was comparing bids. He explained the process clearly, set expectations for what the finish would and would not look like, and sent videos and links so I could make an informed choice. The crew also showed up on time, worked quickly, and acted professionally. Unfortunately, the actual workmanship was disappointing. I paid extra for the stem walls, but they were left messy, without proper top coat, and with flakes not shaved down. The expansion joints were not epoxied, which I had agreed to, but nothing was done to make them look clean or consistent. The control joints were also sloppy, with random heavy flakes, blobs of epoxy, and no uniform finish. The floor itself had an inconsistent top coat. Some areas looked fine, others barely looked coated at all. Instead of a textured but smooth finish, the floor was rough, sharp, and uncomfortable to walk on. In some spots near the joints, bare concrete was still visible. When I called, I was met with hesitation and told, in so many words, that my expectations were unrealistic. They offered to add another top coat, but only if I paid for the extra epoxy. I refused and asked them to come inspect it themselves. After waiting another two weeks, the crew returned for touch-ups. I was told to stay off the floor for 8 hours. I waited 12, stepped in, and immediately found sticky spots. Even after 24 hours, the areas they touched were still wet and had not cured. When I called again, they still insisted the original job had been done correctly and seemed unwilling to believe their second visit had left uncured epoxy behind. I asked to speak to the owner. He called and defended the work right away, said the second visit should not even have been necessary, and claimed the install looked perfect in the photos his crew sent him. At that point, the most frustrating part was not just the poor quality, but the complete lack of accountability. I told him I was ready to have another company fix it and expected him to cover half the cost. He refused. Only after I mentioned filing a chargeback did he suddenly make time to come out that same day. Even then, he never apologized or admitted the job was poorly done. He repeated that the finish was standard and that this was what epoxy floors look and feel like. Yet once he was there, he took photos of the problem areas without me needing to point them out, felt the uncured epoxy for himself, and spent about 4 hours trying to fix the floor. When he was done he wanted to set up an appointment to have another top coat done, "out of curtesy" not because it needed it. I denied it, I didn't want my things outside for a whole other month or to move them in just to move them out again. In the end, my garage floor is usable, but it still looks like a sloppy DIY project. I honestly believe someone with no experience and a Home Depot epoxy kit could have done a better job.

10/10 I would go with these guys every time! Their lifetime warranty, customer service, and upholding to their standards/work is what made us choose Fresno epoxy crew and it was well worth it! They were our first and last estimate didn’t go with anyone else because you can’t beat quality work. Thank you Marco for installing out beautiful floors and Jason for coming and doing our estimate.
