The main level of my townhouse – roughly 700 square feet – had five flooring changes. And I hated all of them! Enter Mechele Fong at Floortex Design in Danville. As Store and Project Manager, she knows her product line inside out; as a smart and fashionable lady, she was able to suggest products that were going to meet my needs and look great. And, as a compassionate person, she was able to take in all the pre-installation changes my husband and I threw at her. The installers were prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. When they discovered a slow leak in my kitchen halfway through, they immediately got Mechele on the line to manage the whirlwind that happened next. Mechele promptly got me on the phone to explain the situation and offer solutions. She knew a plumber who could be at the house shortly. Yes, please, thank you. The plumber diagnosed the problem – I needed a new faucet, that I actually already had – and fixed it. Because this had been a slow leak, there was damage that the plumber could not fix. No problem, Mechele knows a contractor that specializes in water damage. He had a guy out that day to estimate the extent of the damage and suggest next steps. Yes, please, and thank you some more. Because the kitchen flooring was now on hold, the installers finished the rest of the work and told me they would be back just as soon as the new kitchen project was complete. Mechele kept in touch with me and the contractor and was able to have the installers (same guys, so they knew what the status of the project was) back within days of the contractor signing off on my kitchen. I cannot suggest Mechel Fong and Floortex Design strongly enough. Yes, they have excellent product, knowledgeable staff, and superior installers. More importantly, they are on top of things, connected within the industry, and care about the satisfaction of their clients. I will be back with future projects!

We had a wonderful experience working with the Floortex team. The time and expertise provided by Andrew set us up for success in selecting the right material and style of flooring throughout the house. From there, the installation team was kind, thorough and extremely efficient in their work. We couldn’t be happier with the results of all of our flooring (engineered hardwood, laminate and carpets).
