I have known Sam Franco 15+ years and have employed him as a subcontractor and directly to replace the floors in my home in Pleasanton. As a flooring contractor, I would employ Sam in the most complex jobs - trusting him to complete the most technically challenging and high visibility hardwood and hardwood refinishing projects . His standards are consistently high, he anticipates problems (in most cases) and suggests solutions proactively. He communicates well and effectively and establishes schedules that he follows to a T. His pricing is fair and the value is solid - over the many hardwood and hardwood repair and refinishing jobs I have employed Sam to complete, his prices only change when the scope of the job changes (for example, damage in the subfloor is discovered or there is additional, unforseen demo that has to be accomplished). I especially appreciate Esteban, his long time helper who is an accomplished craftsman in his own right and Sammy (his son) who helps with demo and other tasks when not in school. I know many flooring installers and refinishing technicians, but when I recently replaced the floors in my home I never thought twice about who to call - I even delayed my project 2 months waiting for an opening in Sam's schedule.
