Not Worth The Wait The big winds some months back created landslide opportunities for fence companies, dare I say it, "Windfall Profits" More than a sixty day wait; thirty plus days for an estimate (not uncommon under the circumstances) and once I signed and returned the estimate another thirty plus days. I had questions and concerns and each time I called I was told my questions and file were on the estimator's desk. I never got a call back. Nope. The team that eventually showed up to replace our fallen fence were efficient and the team leader was good about asking questions that were included in my job file. Problem was he was not authorized to upgrade or alter his plan, so to speak. The quality of the wood was lousy; if there was an upgrade option or if I had seen a sample of what I was getting I'd have passed over what I got. It was clear that getting 'in and out' was the watchword. The front facing portion of the fence and the gates should have been the best boards and best efforts by the installers. Not so, crappier boards that could have been lost in the 65' of side yard fencing were front and center for all to see. The cut work was amateurish and I had to buy and ad door sweeps at the gate bottoms because the boards were cut so uneven. One gate had a 'see through' (an inch and a quarter gap) feature created by poor board placement and was left. Done. Make certain to ask if they haul the dirt from the post holes away. I thought they had but later found it all in one of my raised planter beds. I contacted the company with my list of concerns and never heard back from them. It has been a full week. I figured that was enough time to respond. Apparently they have enough work that they don't need to address or correct any of the items I listed out.

Due to age, weather and wind, we had to replace voth side fences on our property. Having amazing neighbors, and a great referral from a friend, we decided to use Creative Fence and Wall. WOW! I cannot begin to tell you how happy we are!

Don’t bother with Augustine. This guy will mess up your fence and take no responsibility for it whatsoever. I don’t know how he stays in business. It probably has something to do with him using multiple names for his company. Make no mistake. This is Augustine Fence Company.
